Natural healing for your four-legged companions
Animals communicate their pain differently than humans, but they deserve the same attention to their comfort and wellbeing. At Cultivate Health Chiropractic, we understand how your animal’s discomfort affects both their quality of life and yours. Our AVCA certified animal chiropractic care helps restore easeful movement, addressing issues that traditional treatments might miss, and empowering your animals to live their fullest, most comfortable lives.
We adjust all farm and fair animals!

Dogs and small animals
Small animals are easily injured with high-paced falls, or playing with larger animals. They respond quickly to chiropractic adjustment and often begin to feel better after just a few treatments.
Chiropractic care can be an ancillary treatment to most body, pelvis, and back pains your small animals encounter.

Horses
I’ve been handling horses for over 25 years and love working with these great animals.
Whether you’re monitoring the comfort of an older horse or have a performance animal that’s off their game, chiropractic care can help your horse function at their best.
FAQs about chiropractic care for animals
-
Your animal must be under care of licensed veterinarian. We will coordinate a referral with your veterinarian and then meet you at the office or in the field for the first appointment.
We contact your veterinarian before the first appointment, so they can share relevant medical history with us.
Chiropractic care does not take the place of veterinary care. If your animal’s case is not a candidate for chiropractic care, you will be referred back to your vet.
If you need a name of a local vet that we work with we are happy to help.

For dogs and cats: We often see animals following falls or accidents, older pets experiencing trouble in their hind end, those with disc injuries, and pets with head shaking. Many pet owners also bring their animals in to maintain optimal nervous system function.
For horses: Common reasons for care include stiffness or aging, changes in behavior under saddle, rehabilitation following an accident, and support for increased performance efforts.

Each animal is unique. Some respond quickly and may feel better after just a few treatments, while others with chronic conditions may benefit from ongoing care. After your initial assessment, Dr. Brown will discuss a recommended care plan specific to your animal's needs.

Chiropractic techniques are designed to be gentle and comfortable. Many animals actually enjoy their adjustments once they understand what's happening!
Treatment usually takes 15-30 minute per animal. We move at each animal's pace to ensure your four-legged companion feels safe throughout the treatment.
