    Human chiropractic care

    We treat people of all ages. We welcome new patients seeking wellness care or injury care. Dr. Brown has further training in chiropractic care for children and infants as well as pregnant women and postpartum moms.

    Out of pocket care (no insurance)

    • New patient exam: $ 175
    • Treatments: $ 55/appointment

    We are in network with BCBS and medicare.

    Animal Chiropractic Care

    Small animals (at our office):
    • New patient: $ 75
    • Treatments: $ 55

    Small animal (in the field):
    • $60/treatment
    Includes goats, sheep, and birds

    Large animals (in the field):
    • $115/treatment
    Includes horses and steers

    Horse & Rider Coaching

    Sessions combine physical therapy and riding for you and your horse to address weakness and imbalances

    Priced on a sliding scale from $120-150
    • $ 120 covers my costs
    • $ 150 = ideal pricing to support my work
    You can have up to 2 horses in one session if you’d like to split the cost with a friend.

    Saddle Fit and Biomechanics

    In these visits we will evaluate the movement of your horse in their tack, check the fit of your saddle, and discuss the ergonomics involved in your saddle fit. We can also do a measurement with the Dennis Lane saddle fitting cards if needed.

    $120 for individual sessions

    $75 to check your current tack fit with your adjustment

Frequently asked questions about our services

  • We primarily treat people and small animals in our Rockford location. Dr. Brown works in the field several days a week and some Saturdays to treat animals.

  • Initial exams are both legally required and necessary for Dr. Brown to fully understand your health history and the problems you or your animal are presenting with. The majority of the time we are able to perform an adjustment at your first visit.

  • Some of our sessions adopt a “sliding scale” pricing model based on anticapitalist pricing methods.

    The pricing for the majority of the work I do is fixed by the organizations I work within in our healthcare system. I try to offer sliding scale where I am able.

    Payments are on your honor and any option is the right option.

  • Out of pocket refers to paying for care without insurance.

    We are in network with BCBS and medicare only. The other health insurance companies do not pay a living wage for me unless I see a high volume of patients, which I’m not comfortable with.

    All animal treatments are out of pocket and due at time of service.
